Natal Chart of Nadya Suleman, Interpretation

This is the Natal Chart, or birth chart, for Nadya Suleman, the mother who gave birth to octuplets when she already had 6 children under the age of 7. Nadya Suleman was born July 11, 1975 in Bellflower, California.

First let me say that we wish the best for the babies. May they be blessed, for never was it more appropriate to say, "They didn't ask for this." So much was manipulated in this case.

But this is about the mother, Nadya Suleman. Nadya means "Hope". "Suleman" is a male Arabic given name that means "Man of Peace." There is no 'father' in this scenario. But Nadya's father is going to head back to Iraq ... for peace?

There has been an outrage about this birth. What it will cost the state of California … how the babies can possibly be well-cared for … what the doctor was thinking … what Suleman, herself, was thinking.

The little Aquarian babies were born January 26. Well, they will have lots of company, and can work as a group, which Aquarians love. In this case, a good thing, since, with a Mother who is a Cancer, the little water-bearers will be the emotional support for their single Mother. At the time of the birth, she and the 6 other children were living with her parents.

Cancer, of course, is about home and family. Notice, too, that Suleman has currently skittled off to hide.

Suleman has a North Node in Scorpio. These people are more unconscious about their motives, problems and conflicts, than most (depends on how evolved they are, how many times around the wheel), and their life purpose is Regeneration. Moving from Personal Will to Divine Will.

Suleman has said she was lonely as an only child and her mother confirms her obsession with having babies. Nadya Suleman has Sun square Jupiter. Jupiter is about excess, and the Sun, about confidence. Well, here she has done something most of us think excessive.

Spiritual Life Purpose Reports are one of my specialties. Looking at where this node is in a person's natal chart, we see why the person has incarnated this time. There are things to be overcome. Here are notes on what Suleman's Spiritual Life Purpose Placement indicates. I want to put a comment after each one, but I think you can do that on your own.

Good at using the material resources of others to their own advantage (like the State of California).
Need to achieve social status
Think they can decide what's best for others
Perseverance. ("It can't go on any longer," Suleman's mother said.)
Energy followed by periods of vast weariness and laziness
Attached to doing things the hard way, and clings to this pattern.
A slow learner who can't learn vicariously
Has no idea that appetites are insatiable. Doesn't know when to stop.
Huge need for security. Intense and painful past-life damage to ego, so in this lifetime, pushes at all costs, but uses willpower to replace insight. Has no insight into what their drives and problems are
Is supposed to move from selfish concerns to concern for others
Hang up about power - this also shows up in Sun conjunct Saturn in Cancer --- loneliness and ego desire to control (no 'father' for these babies - they're all hers)
Need to experience extremes
Possessive
Becomes depressed when they think they are lacking in some way

Nadya Suleman has set up a website, called The Nadya Suleman Family to solicit donations.

Eight not so great?
Unlike many previous multiple births, Nadya Suleman’s octuplets have attracted controversy and criticism. Here a protester makes his opinion plain.

Thanks for that astro-info. It was very interesting. Your analysis of her Spiritual Life Purpose Placement picture is acurate. Before knowing I guessed she is a Cancer. I do some chart reading and was thinking this event may be linked to Pluto just entering Capricorn, opposite Nadya's Sun and Saturn. This story just might define the decade like OJ was key in defining the following decade when Pluto went from Sag. into Scorpio in 1995.
The transformation might not be just for the Suleman family but for all of us. Over the next 11 or so years I be,lieve we will be focused on that opposition facing Nadya. Children and nurturing as in Cancer vs Saturn's hard lessons will be an undeniable focus for all.

Do you have any thoughts on this?
