Lunar Eclipse - dealing with messy emotions

Lunar Eclipse is Messy Time. Don't let it trip you up.
Stanton felt the moral of the film was "Irrational love defeats life's programming." He continued "That's a perfect metaphor for real life. We all fall into our habits, our routines and our ruts, consciously or unconsciously to avoid living. To avoid having to do the messy part. To avoid having relationships with other people, of dealing with the person next to us. That's why we can all get on our cell phones and not have to deal with one another."

This statement is about WALL-E, an old Pixar movie I happened to watch last week when at a friend's house. Not surprisingly, this coincided with a church sermon I heard last month, where the minister said, from the pulpit, that "families are messy."

Messy? Emotions are the stuff of life. And that's part of what these eclipses are asking us to deal with. You can only go so long without "dealing" with them, healing them. Some of our trouble with "messy emotions" can be karma. But why not deal with this in this lifetime. The upcoming lunar eclipse could be just the time. Email me for a reading - sdunn@susandunn.cc . Typical ways of numbing yourself to avoid the "mess."

LEO WOMAN - Getting intellectual and analysing what's going on in an interchange instead of participating

TAURUS - Eating. Sitting. Eating. Not taking part.

ARIES - Taking on a new project that keeps you out of the house more. Hey! It's better than all that messy "drama" at home.

GEMINI - Moving to find a new place where you think your penchant for human drama will be more welcomed. And it will be. For a while.

CANCER - Pulling back into your shell.

LIBRA MAN - Listening to what's going on and playing referee. It's a one-up position in gamesmanship.

This Moon is in Cancer. It's "messy" time. Let me help!

Leon Fleisher's Birthday - an Inspiration

Leon Fleisher, a Leo with Aries ascendant. A courageous man with charisma.

Today, July 23rd, is Leon Fleisher's birthday. Reports vary as to why, but after a promising career as a pianist, suddenly Leon was unable to use his right hand. He struggled with depression, treatments, a survery which failed, failed marriages ... found joy again in teaching and conducting, and playing one-hand pieces; and finally, after 30 years, was able to use his right hand again.

Astrologically a trying time for relationships

Astrologically, this is a trying time for relationships.

Scorpios are being more secretive, and showing a bit of tail at that. Leos are being more arrogant. Tauruses are being more stubborn. Pisces are being more 'swimmy.'

Astrologically, the signs are tending to express their downsides, their unmindful sides, their unevolved personalities.

Not, of course, you, dear reader, because your are mindful and informed.

Just watch out for those around you who seem to be determined right now to be the most annoying they can be.

How do you treat a Leo

From the emailbag:

I read this on a dating advice site and I disagree. Some guy has written that he doesn't have trouble getting dates, but he can't get past the first date. She writes back:

In our time-crunched society, it seems that no one wants to waste any time with the Wrong One. If you think about dating in this way, it puts you under so much pressure that it can make it even more difficult to succeed.

Keep these guidelines in mind--they will increase your chances of a great first date: Keep it casual and low-key. Save your extravagant gestures until after you know each other better.

Some of her other tips are good, like "Treat a discussion like a tennis game—you’re exchanging information. Smile, and keep it light and flirtatious, upbeat and positive. You should be talking about half the time." but that first part sure doesn't work for me.

Oh, one thing she said was really true - if I don't want to get romantically involved with the guy, I definitely insist on paying for it.

I think she's off-base on that first one. In our "time-crunched society," I don't want a guy who's ticking off the notches on his belt buckle, and throwing out one-liners in a Starbucks. In fact if a guy asks me for coffee at Starbucks, he's off my list. I expect him to be selective, and if he arrives at me, to take me out somewhere really nice and impress me, which includes being able to handle the "pressure" of an upscale rather formal dinner engagement.

What do you think?

A Leo who's claws are out

Dear Leo:

I agree, that's the perfect way to court a Lioness. Perhaps the only way -- guys, take heed. Leos are the Queens of the Jungle, after all. What they require might overwhelm a Cancer gal, and totally miss the mark with a Pisces gal. And, with the shoe on the other foot, may be totally beyond an Aquarius male to deliver. Everyone gets to go to Starbucks, for the Aquarius - fair is fair.

Go back to that old song, "If her daddy's rich, take her out for a meal. If her daddy's poor, just do what you feel." All Leo gals had a rich dad; because it's all about the royal treatment. Money isn't really what it's about.

A guy should know how to treat different signs and/or what he's getting in to with what signs. He also should know about his own sign and chart, which is uniquely individual. There's a very wise saying: "Never give advice in a crowd." Call me (817-734-1471) or email me (sdunn@susandunn.cc) to set up an appointment for a reading.

I'd love to help you hone your dating skills. I bring couples together and help them stay together.

Hallelujah Comments by Astrological Sign

From Cohen: "I wanted to write something in the tradition of the hallelujah choruses but from a different point of view... It's the notion that there is no perfection ~ that this is a broken world and we live with broken hearts and broken lives but still that is no alibi for anything. On the contrary, you have to stand up and say hallelujah under those circumstances."

Cohen's original has now been viewed 6,323,398 times on youtube..

Scorpio - Tied you to a kitchen chair? What a turnon! But really this song has deep meanings that go way below the surface. It has a lot of Judaism in it, the Old Testament, spirituality.

Libra - At first I was sure Buckley's was the best, but then I took the time to listen to the other ones and I have to admit I was wrong.

Leo - It's about the big picture. It's so big I don't think a lot of people really get it. The only thing I don't get is, what does that mean "All I've ever learned from love is how to shoot somebody who outdrew you"?

Aries - Take a look at K. D. Lang's. She has the fire.

Cancer - It all went wrong? He said he'd been in that room before and he used to live alone. That's so sad. I hope he doesn't have to end up living alone.

Virgo - A shame he had to use "ya" to rhyme with "hallelujah". Is it really a 4th, a 5th? Better check that out. And how does that incident give "proof" of faith. It certainly isn't anything scientific. BTW it isn't the pop chart, it's the Christmas chart.

Taurus - Bathing at night in the moonlight .. nice touch.

Sagittarius - If you'd been anywhere, like I have, I've traveled to Tibet and done the Buddhist thing too, you would see the deep spirituality of this song and how the chord of David means saying the right thing at the right time to the right person in the right tone and pitch of voice, you know, so it's music to their ears.

Capricorn - Seems to me that he shouldn't have gotten involved with her. I mean if you say you can't feel then you shouldn't lead someone on.

Pisces - If your faith is strong, you don't need proof. This song is about heaven, about other worlds beyond this one, about the oneness of it all. There really is a blaze of light in every word. Who's to say it all went wrong? There's a bigger design.

Aquarius - At least he knows how the world is supposed to be. As to the versions, I think everyone should have the freedom to choose the one they like, and that all the opinions should be equal.

Gemini - Kinda tired of listening to it. The emotions are too complex, whatever he's saying. Makes my stomach hurt.

From BBC News Magazine's "Just whose hallelujah is it anyway?"

As the Bishop of Croydon put it in a recent Radio 2 documentary, "what it comes from is being open and transparent before God and the world and saying 'this is how it is, mate'".

Send us your comments on the song, and your zodiacal sign. Here are some early comments:

Leo with Cancer rising: Play this at my funeral. Play this and then Handel's real "Hallelujah Choris" and then send 'em home.

Taurus: I really like this version. I didn't realize how handsome he is. I guess I haven't seen his picture for decades!

Leo: To keep living in the face of inevitable “Bafflement” or God forbid, even despair we must agree to that last line. THAT is to praise the Lord, to agree to life, to be fully alive. It’s not whether it’s broken or holy but that you still say Hallelujah.

Erich (sign uknown): recommends Allison Crowe's version, a double Scorpio he says. "The song itself is just so emotionally resonant," said Crowe. Crowe, like Lang, like Cohen, is Canadian.

Announcer: It means totally different things to whoever listens to it, and whoever sings it.

Madonna, a Leo and Ritchie, a Virgo

Just the sort of thing that would happen during this astrological time period: Man's last gift to wife: a $10 million lottery ticket. On the day that Donald Peters of Connecticut died, he bought the winning lotto ticket at his local 7-Eleven store. Read the full story here.

Next ...

Madonna, performing in Boston shortly after her split with Guy Ritchie was announced, said: "This song is for the emotionally retarded. You might know a few people who fall into that category. God knows I do."

And??

  • If you want to learn about emotional intelligence, the opposite of "emotionally retarded," go here.
  • The song Madonna then sang was "Miles Away", inspired, she once said, by her often long-distance relationship with Ritchie.

    Madonna Lyrics
    Miles Away Lyrics

Supposedly the bitterest part of the fight is about the child custody.

But what about their charts? What else is going on?

    Ritchie
    Born September 10, 1968
    Hartfield UK
    Birth time: unknown
    Sun sign: Virgo
    Moon Sign: Aries or Taurus

This is earth, mutable, practical, realistic, dependable But they tend to see things critically and cynically, picking and nit-picking. They can look through someone, not at them. They like things tidy; that is to say, "their" way. And quite often, because of their attention to detail, they don't know a good thing until it's gone.

    Madonna
    August 16 1958
    Bay City, Michigan
    Birth time: 7:05 a.m.
    Sun Sign: Leo
    Moon Sign: Virgo

This is fire, fixed, romantic. Someone who cannot stand to be picked on, picked at, picked apart. A Leo woman needs romance and to be appreciated, and the up-close-and-personal type of love. Leo women, like Madonna, cannot stand not to be appreciated. They know their own worth - the Queens of Hearts - and often give warning to critical lovers -- "You're gonna miss me when I'm gone." When ignored in a romance or affair of the heart, they say things like ... well the lyrics of "Miles Away."

Lets do my Diamond Analogy on this one. Virgo? When presented with a huge carat diamond, of uncommon beauty, sees only the tiny carbon inclusion. Mourns and turns cynical. Because no diamond, and no thing, is ever perfect. Leo? Is the diamond. Uncut, the blinding beauty cannot be revealed. The best diamond cutter will find the facets, shape, polish, transforming the Diamond from a rough stone into a faceted gem.

All in all, Virgo male and Leo female make excellent platonic room-mates. For lasting love? Well there's the astrological scene, too. With transit of Pluto in Capricorn - a New Phase of Existence for us all, Madonna and Ritchie as well.

And then there's the retrograde of Saturn in Virgo. It means different tasks for each sign, and depending on the house and sign where Saturn falls in your birth chart (see earlier blog). Email me for a reading. For instance, for Pisces, it's about healing yourself in spite of a relationship, and for Capricorn, its about your behavior. But for Virgo? For Virgo it's about EVERYTHING.

We wish Madonna, Ritchie and the children the best at this difficult time.

The Other Thing Men Want (the Perfect Holiday Gift)

The Other Thing Men Want (The Perfect Holiday Gift)

This article by Susan is currently appearing on astrology signs insider.

Dating has gotten more complicated, there’s no question about it.

What most women want to know is how to attract (and keep) a man. In other words, What does a man want? We know the usual stuff - We know that men like to be told what we want, not to have to guess. We know that when they get grumpy or withdrawn, they “go in the cave,” and want to be left alone, and that it usually isn’t about us, they just want time alone. Especially if you’ve got a Scorpio, let your magnetic, mysterious guy crawl off and hide when he needs to. He’s charismatic, and you may dread his going off, but it’s worth it to avoid the sting of an annoyed Scorpio.

We also know men like to be listened to with respect. In fact, someone has said that “to be a man is to be listened to.” Well, yes, he probably likes to talk, and when he does, he wants us just to listen. He is not interested in feedback, just an audience, a sounding board. Any ‘comments’ may be construed as criticism, or that you assume he’s ‘weak’ and needs ‘help.’ Be particularly careful with this with an Aries guy. They cannot stand to be “criticized”.
Incidentally, this will be more pleasant with a Gemini guy, because they are usually excellent in diplomacy and will dazzle you with their mercurial wit and brilliance.
Men can’t stand it when we don’t say we’re mad when we are, but let it fester. It’s especially annoying when we store it as resentment, and then ‘attack’ them at a snuggly time. (This is like sabotage and builds up a sort of avoidance routine you don’t want to get in to.) If you’ve got a Cancer guy, be especially careful about this. They’re naturally psychic, so you can’t fool them, they know. So own up, get it out, get it over with.
Men want us to talk sweet! Teasing and sarcasm are turnoffs, as well as confusing. The knee-jerk reaction from a guy is to consider it an attack. With your Taurus guy, it should quickly develop into a silent rapport that is easier to deal with.
Men like to be acknowledged! (Don’t we all!) Catch him doing something right (or good or that you like) and thank him and you’ll likely get more of this. This works particularly well on a Leo because he cannot stand being controlled or dictated to. Handle him right and he is the most generous and magnanimous of the signs. Acknowledging the good things he does will cause the King of the Jungle to sheathe those claws and purr like a pussycat.
We know that men liked to be loved just as they are. Take special caution with your Aquarius guy. They are almost unbelievably independent. Any suggestion of ‘change,’ will engender, “It’s MY life!” That’s not what you meant, but why go there?
Guys also like reassurance. Once he knows you’re in it for the long-haul, heart and soul, he will fall right in line. You first! Especially if your love is a Virgo. To the Virgo male, love is not dramatic, emotional, or sentimental, it is devotion. Say it, show it, give it, and you will get.
    No surprises here.
So what’s the OTHER thing men want? I know you’ve been waiting for this…Well, he really wants to be his best self, to know who he is, why he is here - his purpose - and that he’s living it out and it’s worthwhile. One gift you can give your man is find out his Spiritual Life Path, remind him of it, and let him know he’s on it. He wants meaning in his life, just like you do. It isn’t all about money, a new car, a Rolex or climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. A man’s life work goes best when it is aligned with his spiritual life purpose. This can be seen from his chart by an experienced astrologer who is knowledgeable in the spiritual life purpose. It involves his whole sense of being, worth and the meaning of his life.

A Spiritual Life Path Report makes a wonderful gift to your guy for the Christmas, the holidays, for Valentine’s Day, for his birthday, or simply for you to know and keep in mind as you love your man, whatever his sign.

Venus in the 1st house: Lawrence of Arabia

Let us begin with The Top 10 Replies of Lawrence of Arabia to his Editors
Handsome, isn't he? More on this to come ...
    ________________________________________
Lawrence of Arabia's book, The Seven Pillars of Wisdom, is a classic. His replies to his editor's comments on spelling are also classics.

    1. In his preface, T. E. Lawrence writes: Particularly it owes great thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Shaw for countless suggestions of great value and diversity:
and for all the present semicolons.

    2. Q. I attach a list of queries raised by F. who is reading the proofs. He finds these very clean, but full of inconsistencies in the spelling of proper names, a point which reviewers often take up. Will you annotate it in the margin, so that I can get the proofs straightened?
    A. Annotated: not very helpfully perhaps. Arabic names won't go into English exactly, for their consonants are not the same as ours, and their vowels, like ours, very from district to district. There are some 'scientific systems' of transliteration, helpful to people who know enough Arabic not to need helping, but a wash-out for the world. I spell my names anyhow, to show what rot the systems are.

    3. Q. Slip 1. Jeddah and Jidda used impartially throughout. Intentional?
    A. Rather.

    4. Q. Slip 16. Bir Waheida, was Bir Wahheidi.
    A. Why not? All one place.

    5. Q. Slip 20. Nuri, Emir of the Ruwalla, belongs tro the 'chief family of the Rualla.' On Slip 23, "Rualla horse', and Slip 38, 'killed one Rueli'. In all later slips "Rualla'.
    A. Should have also used Ruwala and Ruala.

    6. Q. Slip 28. The Bisaita is also spelt Biseita.
    A. Good.

    7. Q. Slip 47. Jedha, the she-camel, was Jedhah on Slip 40.
    A. She was a splendid beast.

    8. Q. Slip 53. 'Meleager, the immoral poet'. I have put 'immortal' poet, but the author may mean immoral after all.

    A. Immorality I know. Immortality I cannot judge. As you please: Meleager will not sue us for libel.

    9. Q. Slip 65. Author is addressed 'Ya Auruns', but on Slip 56 was 'Aurans'.
    A. Also Lurens and Runs: not to mention 'Shaw'. More to follow if time permits.

    10. Q. Slip 78. Sherif Abd el Mayin of Slip 68 becomes el Main, el Mayein, el Muein, el Mayin, and el Muyein.
    A. Good egg. I call this really ingenious.

Yes, Sir Lawrence had Venus in his 1st house. How does this play itself out, when Venus is about beauty, values, and needs for, and propensities for, relationships and adoration?

Often they are highly attractice and able to use this appeal to bring on relationships and also create a sort of Ideal Image which they project. "They" are their own best asset, so to speak. They can use the persona - their looks and personality to make things happen. (Of course at the downside, the needs can be insatiable, and thus not able to be met.)

Lawrence of Arabia has this in his chart, and if you know your history, was sent to make peace with (read: subdue) the Bedouins, for the British. As you can tell from his cheeky replies above ... he was one to do it HIS way, and certainly never lacking in confidence. As the movie portrays, he liked the Bedouins, adopted their dress and customs and thought they should be allowed to be self-determined.

He was rather charming about all this (1st house Venus in Virgo), and also quite able to analyze the situation, apply his own deep values which he was able to communicate well, and use his charm (and "beauty")to tranform and inspire. He later became an advisor to Winston Churchill. And communicate he did - in voluminous writing, and several books.

Much of this portrayed in the movie, "Lawrence of Arabia." Quite the stuff that legends are made of.

Being a Leo, of course, didn't hurt his charisma either (August 16).

He died at age 46 from a motorcycle accident and even then his influence extended. The neurosurgeon who attended him began to ponder the head injuries of motorcyclists ... and his research led to crash helmets.

The downside of the Venus is that he exaggerated things in his book The Seven Pillars of Wisdom, and also hired people to whip him (masochist) ... and perhaps the speculations that he was homosexual (not proven). But just how beautiful is a man allowed to be? And the head injury ... to the place of the greatest beauty in the man.

    Venus in 1st house rules.

Aquarius and Leo? Can there be love.

    Is anyone home??

Can you tell me what to do? I'm a Leo and I fell in love with an Aquarius. It has turned out to cause me more tears than any romance I've been in, yet he keeps pulling me back into it. He will occasionally say the things I like and need to hear, and then he becomes totally distant. I'm so confused. He tells me all the time (he's a doctor) how important it is to LISTEN to people (his patients), but he sure doesn't listen to ME. He can be so cold I can't believe it. Once in the middle of a state-of-the-art relationship talk, he took a phone call. Sometimes he'll go weeks without getting together with me. What am I doing wrong? Is this just a bad match? I can't figure out what attracted me to him in the first place. --Saneetra

The trouble with this pairing is that the two signs have definitions of LOVE that are almost diametrically opposed.

Aquarian, despite being thought to be the lovers of people, are not so demonstrative about a person in general. They are always at a distance, without sentimental committment.

The Leo needs lots of romanticism and sentiment, and rarely does a Aquarius fit the bill. They start strong (what man doesn't) and then, it's off to IMPORTANT things, generally Aquarian, like saving the world, taking care of "people", climbing mountains, anything but the woman they're with.

It's possible for some Leos and Aquarians to function, but it's more like "function," if you know what I mean. Aquarians are intellectuals, not very interested in their emotional side. They often think it "silly." I remember counseling one Aquarian that he needed to work on his emotional intelligence, and he said, laughing, "you can't be emotional AND be intelligent." Uh oh.
The only saving grace is if the Aquarian understands the Leo pride. To be ignored is not going to work with a Leo.
I'd look elsewhere. He's drawn to you for what he's missing, but he can't connect to it.
If you're in a relationship, let me do a compatibility reading for you. Email me at sdunn@susandunn.cc .

Don't Ask for it Unless You're Sure You Want it

I mean, don't mess with people right now. Let sleeping dogs lie.

Until around August 26th, the energy is going to be awful.

F'rinstance, if you've been dating a woman for a while, and a gift occasion arises, don't give her a ring. She'll see that ring box and ... There's plenty of other jewelry to choose from, guys. DON'T TEASE.

Especially, don't mess with the Fixed Signs and the Fire Signs right now, and if you're dealing with one who's both (like a Leo), be patient and gentle. Otherwise you're likely to get claws.

If you live in the Dallas area, be sure and come see me at the Dallas Psychic Fair every first Sunday. And bring your friends!

"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it"
    -Helen Keller
    ____________________________

The watchword from now until November is - surprises. Some you may like, others you may not. Whatever it is, it will change. You will provide unnecessary suffering to yourself and others if you resist change.

During this time period, situations and relationships you are in may flip-flop. Good, bad, then back again; some mild, some stronger. There will be beginnings and endings ... and they may flip-flop again. Consider all this "in flux" until November, and don't over-react to any one thing.

Remember other people are feeling it too.

Don't force any issues right now. Mainly because there's no reason to!

Sometimes when I'm doing a reading, the person isn't interested in hearing about the global things on astrologically. This is important information. You can understand the people around you when you know what's going on, the things that apply to all of us.

This is a time to stay centered and balanced. A reading can help you.

Geminis and Leos appear to be under particular pressure right now. If you are involved with one, you will know what I'm talking about.

Getting a reading to find out about your particular situation.

    PLEIDES / SHOOTING STARS
Meanwhile, remember to enjoy the shooting stars which will peak August 11-13. I talked to someone today who lives up on a hill where it gets dark, and she said she saw some last night and it was spectacular. The Pleides are putting a show for us all to enjoy.

    What's Up with Geminis?

Today I read at the Dallas Psychic Fair. It's like a microcosm - a small picture of a bigger picture. Like an example of what this month's reading selection has been like.

    Here's what's going on.

    • The first 6 people to sit down were Geminis. (A current transit is stressing the heck out of them.) It will pass. But a good time for a reading.
    • The Leos looked stunned - they've been put through the wringer, and were happy but didn't know why. Why? Because psychically they 'know' that this past week's new moon, solar eclipse in Leo, was the Mother of all NEW BEGINNINGS. Suggest a reading in 2 weeks.
    • The Scorpios are braced, as if they're about to be hit. Even more vigilant and mysterious than usual ... one of them did not give his real name. Scorps will be hit, we'll all be hit with surprises from now to November, but being prepared is what it's all about. Scorps should get a reading NOW, to prepare for your individual situation.
    • Pisces are getting hit hard by people around them looking for comfort during this bumpy ride. They're ready for some relief.
I spent some time this weekend with a former professional boxer who also did boxing coaching. Since I coach, I had him show me some moves. That head bobbing, I asked, what's that all about? He said if you duck your head, which is the usual reaction, you'll get clobbered because YOU CAN'T SEE.

So two watchwords for what's coming -- keep your head up, prepared, so you can SEE; and keep your knees bent, like for water skiing. Then you'll be fine.

    Sirius Sunshine

If you're a Leo - this new moon and solar eclipse signal a NEW BEGINNING for you. It's that way for all of us, just moreso for Leos. A great time to find the love of your life, the dream job, the perfect place to live, the home you always wanted.

This is a time to visualize what you want to have happen in the coming months. Do NOT focus on what you don't want. In other words, if you need more money, visualize yourself living in wealth. If you're tired of being overweight, picture yourself at your ideal weight.

This is a time when visualized what you WANT is the thing to do.

IF YOU LIVE IN THE Dallas/Ft. Worth area, come see me tomorrow, SUnday, August 2nd, at the Dallas Psychic Fair. And bring your friends!

    New Moon June 3

This New Moon is in Gemini, which rules the gathering and spreading of information, and this includes our thoughts and beliefs.

During this New Moon, why not take a look inside and clean out!

At a time when we are all DELUGED with information, it's a good time to put on the filter screen. Take a look at what's coming in and going out, and how it is effecting your life. You will have noticed (how could we not?) the fear and negative emotions being generated by the political campaigns, the rising price of oil, natural disasters and other current happenings.

    FROM TODAY'S MAILBAG:

This has been a rollercoaster, drama I don't like. I finally got a job in my field, after 18 months. They called me and told me I had the job. SO I resigned my temporary position. Then I called back to ask to give them 2 weeks' notice, and was told that in that case, the job was no longer mine. Had a job, lost it, lost the other job, all in a 2-hour space. My new boss is willing to keep me on, but I'm devastated by this. I'm a Leo with a lot of Capricorn*. What's going on here? Why can't I get a job?

ANSWER: I have a feeling there was a communication problem going on there. This is a good time to open up to a diverse range of ideas. There are always more than two options. During this transverse, it will be hard to keep your mind steady, and we'll all feel pulled in many different directions. Take a breather, be glad you more or less landed safely, and be open to the possibilities of the New Moon.

Leos tend to take this sort of thing personally, like an ego assault. Best to let it go, and move on. It will turn out to have been a good thing. In fact I think you dodged a bullet there.

    THE NEW MOON

A good time to work on areas involving communication, and that means relationships.
Nobody does it alone. Take a look at this beautiful and poignant story about Albrecht Durer. (http://www.moytura.com/reflections/prayinghands.htm).

Let me help you with a reading. This is the perfect time to question old thoughts and beliefs about your life in general, about who you are, what you want, and your relationships.

*Those with a lot of Capricorn in their charts will be in for some real and inspiring changes when Pluto hits Capricorn. Call me for a reading. This is exciting time for ALL of us.

    Why isn't your relationship working?

I'm so glad Cynthia called for a reading. She's a Leo with a Scorpio rising and has been dating an Aquarius with a Pisces rising for some time and things weren't going well, though she told me she adored the man.

Looking at his chart, who wouldn't adore him? An amateur classical pianist, working in the healing arts, interested in poetry and opera and full of "the belle phrase." But nothing in his chart to indicate he had any interest in, or aptitude for, being the provider, protector, and married/family man that Cynthia wanted in her lifetime partner.

Important for Cynthia to 'get' that no one could ground this spirit, not even her or his love for her!

He isn't a bad person, he just isn't interested in the same thing Cynthia is in the long run and she could see that she was wasting her time, "trying to get blood out of a turnip," so to speak.

Let me take a look at your charts and it can explain some of the frustration points. We'll look at the likelihood of tweaking for better results, or the long-term predictability.

    Mars Retrograde and Plans

This has been a very challenging Mars Retrograde. Lots of anger energy to deal with, old issues, arguments, conflict. It will end at the end of February and this is a good time to start your New Year.

If this is a '7' year for you, it's a great time to be making plans for fruition in the '8' year coming up. Call me for a reading on this. It will be a rough ride if you aren't prepared for what lies ahead this year.

It's important that you clarify what you want, in realistic terms. If you continue being confused about what you want, the Universe will continue to send confusing options, things you don't want, things that are "almost but not quite." You'll keep having impossible choices, and also things where one part of it was excellent, but it didn't fit together at all. If this is you, email me now - semiramis.appiamo@hotmail.com .

Special message for Scorpio - this one has been from hell. If you are back in the cave wondering what hit, you aren't alone.

Leo? You got misinformation. Fall back and retrace your steps and try again. This time listen carefully to the messages you get. He didn't suggest divorce because of more social security, he really wanted a divorce.

FREE READINGS AVAILABLE through the end of this month to help you find your path. New Year's predictions too.
